Lois J. (Osborne) Branscom and Steven Branscom

I talked with Mom Thursday evening about Aunt Elsie's obituary and funeral. She said she didn't know Lois had died too. Except she didn't know her as "Lois". She knew her as "Joanna".

With this in mind, I used my Family Tree Maker 2010 software and my subscription to Ancestry.com to research Lois' death records. The Social Security Death Index listed her death February 5, 1999.

Aunt Elsie's obituary also mentioned that a grandson, Steven Branscom, preceded her in death as well. My research in the Social Security Death Index listed his death December 28, 2003. I googled him and found him listed on Classmates.com as a 1996 graduated Kelly Walsh High School and 1992 graduate of Centennial Junior High School.

The Casper Star Tribune - Trib.com site did not have Lois' or Steven's obituaries in the online archive. I will have to do library research when I can make it to Casper.
